You bring your body, mind, heart and spirit to your work as a Patient Safety Attendant Sitter.
You want to work in an entry level position.
Youâ™re ready to roll up your sleeves. Eager to ask questions. And willing to go above and beyond to ease a patientâ™s pain.
St. Vincent Healthcare is part of SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Our 286-bed level II trauma center has provided care in Montana and the surrounding area since 1898.
Benefits are one of the ways we encourage health for you and your family. Our generous package includes medical, dental and vision coverage. But health is more than a well-working body: it encompasses body, mind and social well-being. To that end, weâ™ve launched a Healthy Living program to address your holistic health. Healthy Living includes financial incentives, digital tools, tobacco cessation, classes, counseling and Paid Time Off. We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.
Together weâ™ll align mission and careers, values and workplace.
Weâ™ll honor each otherâ™s dignity and surpass the standards we set.
Weâ™ll encourage joy, demand safety and take pride in our integrity.
As a Patient Safety Attendant Sitter with us, youâ™ll never know what to expect, but you will know how to:
Observe patient behavior and maintain patient safety
Maintain uninterrupted line of sight with patient
Assist patient in completion of daily personal care
Notify patientâ™s assigned nurse of any change in patientâ™s mental status or condition immediately
Orient patient on use of call bell, bed controls, phone lights and bathroom
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
High School diploma or GED, required
BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire, required
Your next move.
Now that you know more about being a Patient Safety Attendant/Sitter we hope youâ™ll join us. At St. Vincentâ™s, youâ™ll reaffirm every day how much you love this work, and why you were called to it in the first place.
