Responsible for delegated direct or indirect patient care under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech language pathologist or other licensed/registered clinicians. Duties include treatment set-up and take-down, patient scheduling, charge reconciliation, filing, supply management, stocking supplies, tracking data, equipment maintenance and cleaning. The Rehab Technician SR provides mentoring to less experience Rehab Technician staff and volunteers.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in an inpatient rehab unit with experience as certified athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, personal training, or CNA. Or 2 years of rehab experience in inpatient or outpatient setting. Knowledge of medical terminology Basic computer skills
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
