Here is some of whatyou can expect from being an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist with us:
You will performdrug procurement, drug packaging, patient billing, and all aspects of drugcompounding and distribution
You willprovide drug information and clinical service to health professionals andpatients
You willsupervise Pharmacy Technicians, Interns, Students and Volunteers
You willmonitor all aspects of drug therapy in the facility
You willprovide services which require specialized skills and/or age-specificcompetencies, which include adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients from neonatalthrough adolescent ages
You willserve as a patient advocate when planning and implementing pharmaceutical care
Qualificationsyou will need for this role:
CurrentPharmacist License by the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy. BCPS certificationor equivalent preferred
Bachelorof Science (Pharmacy) or Pharm. D. required
HospitalPharmacy experience preferred
Driver’sLicense/Vehicle: Occasionally may require driving to deliver pharmaceuticals tooff-site HealthONE pharmacies such as free-standing emergency departments orsurgery centers; employee needs access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’slicense, and a current auto insurance policy
