Position has responsibility for system and regional Strategy and Planning activities and provides support for legislative and policy-related initiatives. The position reports directly to the Vice President, Strategy and Planning. Position is based in Aurora, Colorado on the Anschutz Medical Campus with the option to work in a remote setting one day per week.
*Bachelor's degree in related field.
*Minimum of five years of experience working in health care strategy, strategy consulting or related field.
*Master's degree in health care administration, business administration or related field.
*Experience managing large-scale projects.
*Experience working in a matrix environment.

Duties and responsibilities
*Works collaboratively with health system, regional and medical group leadership to develop, document, monitor and coordinate strategies and plans.
*Leads the development of complex business cases and related analytics to evaluate potential partnerships and new opportunities.
*Collaborates with regional senior management teams and service line leaders to facilitate annual planning in alignment with system-wide strategy.
*Leads the development of competitive assessments of health care related providers and activities in the market.
*Conducts analysis, research and business plan development to evaluate new programs and services.
*Provides support for UCHealth Government Affairs, including:
-Researches, monitors, analyzes and synthesizes various policy issues and concepts which are pertinent to Colorado and UCHealth.
-Develops position papers, memos, talking points and other materials that outline programs and policy positions.
-Performs quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform UCHealth policy positions.
The midpoint pay for this position is: $171,204 / year. Midpoint is based on approximately 10-15 years of relevant work experience. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
