This position supports the mission of Sky Ridge Medical Center by providing innovative and comprehensive care to patients and their families. The Vice President of Business Development, organizes, and directs all strategic and business development related functions and activities (internal and external) within his / her realm of responsibility for Sky Ridge Medical Center. Their sphere of influence also includes working with the programs and physicians involved with Sky Ridge Medical Center’s lines of business as well as the relationships with external organizations. In collaboration with the Executive Team, and Physician Leaders; establishes goals, objectives, and standards of performance; applies and facilitates compliance with operating policies and procedures. Overall responsibility for providing senior strategic and operational leadership for business development within the context of the facility’s strategic planning cycle, including the development and execution of plans emphasizing clinical excellence, consistently exceptional customer experiences, profitable growth, physician recruitment, engagement and alignment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: This position is responsible for the overall coordination of clinical services and the planning of and implementing of new programs, outreach activities, the development of research opportunities, and the coordinating of marketing activities. • Develops, monitors and oversees implementation of strategic and business development plans in coordination with senior operations and medical leadership.
• Directs and manages the planning of new programs and/or services.
• Works closely with medical staff members to solicit feedback regarding the program. Solicits new ideas regarding the function, constantly looking to enhance patient and family services.
• Assures that quality services are provided on a timely basis and in a cost effective manner by all departments in service line.
• Maintains a customer orientation and demands a customer-focused approach from all who provide services though the service line.
• Development of strategies to market Sky Ridge Medical Center in a manner that enhances the facility’s other managed care efforts.
• Creating synergy to attract payers.
• Develops written marketing strategies and methods of evaluating such strategies in conjunction with the facility communication department.
• Coordinates with physician relations team to work with outreach physicians and other personnel to establish and maintain the program

4 year Bachelor Degree- Required
Post-Graduate Degree- Preferred
Minimum 5 years healthcare management experience required and evidence of experience in program development.
Administrative services and/or program development preferred.
