Salary Range: $72,000.00 Salary/year
This position currently resides in Glenwood Springs, however, residing in any location covered by Mind Springs Health, The Center for Mental Health, or Axis is acceptable.
$2375.88 per year additional Cost of Living Allowance.

Position qualifications: Master's degree in a recognized behavioral health discipline required. Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) or Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC), and Level II NAADAC counselor examination required.
Provides philosophical, clinical, and staff development leadership in the area of addictive behaviors. Promotes an integrated system of substance abuse treatment services in Western Colorado. Disseminates information and resources regarding treatment, intervention, and prevention services. Spearheads strategic planning for substance abuse treatment services within West Slope Casa, LLC. Leads process to develop clinical approaches to co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. Assures adherence with OBH contracts.
Knowledge, Skill & Ability (include materials and equipment directly used): * Ability to provide leadership both independently and as a member of management teams in decision making, implementation, and quality compliance. * Must have a thorough knowledge of management, behavioral health substance abuse, and community relations. * Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet access. * Ability to operate standard office equipment including calculator, copy machine, fax and multi-line telephone. * Interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers. * Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a sometimes hectic environment with frequent interruptions.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods of time at a computer. Employee must be able to travel as needed. Possible potential for exposure to communicable disease. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
