Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience eligible for up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus! The bonus will be taxed per IRS regulations. No surgeries on holidays or weekends.Like a Surgery center. No weekends no nights. No Call!!

No Call!! 'Late Stay' is required and scheduled in advance -Sign up for first second or 3rd room late stay. Min 10 late stays in 6 weeks.

$30.25 - $44.34/hr

Were fast paced department with 15 min room turnovers so everyone is expected to jump in and help. It's "All Hands-on Deck" with Ortho CO. We're Part physician owned, amazing relationship with surgeons. Teamwork is rated high with this team. Surgeons help in rooms. Great collaboration.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact,
  • Colorado Only: RNs working in Colorado under a multi-state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency, i.e., drivers license, register to vote, etc. Compact to Compact. • Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RN's
• BLS from the American Heart Association required
• Previous Operating Room (OR) RN experience preferred
• Must be able to circulate cases; orthopedic case circulating strongly preferred
• Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

OrthoColorado Hospital is Colorado's only orthopedic specialty hospital and is designed specifically for the orthopedic patient. Located on the St. Anthony Medical Campus, OrthoColorado Hospital is a joint venture between physician investors and Centura Health. Our state-of-the-art facility features a 48-bed inpatient unit, including six intermediate care beds and eight operating rooms. All members of our staff and team, from pre-operative care through recovery, and our in-patient nurses are specialty trained in orthopedics. Our surgeons are renowned for their talent, knowledge and experience in their orthopedic specialties and sub-specialties. Having a team with a focused background and years of experience allow our staff to provide an unprecedented level of care, resulting in the best outcomes and experience for our patients.

Day to Day duties: Circulate on all cases. Mainly Ortho, Total joint replacements (Hips, Shoulder, Knees Ankles etc.), Ortho Spine and Sports Medicine.

Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations. Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next days cases. Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery.
