Pay Range
$17.00 - $23.44/hr

Centura Health values its incredible CNAs and want to ensure they practice at top of their license to better optimize their skills and experience. We've also developed a career path framework for CNAs that clarifies paths to move, develop and advance CNA careers into nursing and other roles. The CNA provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
The General Surgical Unit at Littleton Adventist Hospital is a department with 32 beds and has a daily average of 22 patients. Our specialty is general medical, neurosurgery/spine, general surgical and trauma. We also see med/surg patients. We work very closely with both Neurosurgery One and the trauma team. There is a wide variety of medical conditions and the unit provides great exposure to a wealth of nursing knowledge. We have remote telemetry capability. Our department is a desirable place to work because of the exceptional culture. Teamwork and support are the most commended attributes from travelers and float pool nurses who see our department. We look for candidates with a great attitude, positive energy and reliability to deliver compassion and excellent care.
PRN: Qualifies for a 15% PRN shift differential!
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Six months previous CNA experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic computer skills
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- High School diploma or GED required within one year of hire
- Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program preferred
- State registered CNA license required
- BLS from the American Heart Association required
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
