Pay Range
$35.17 - $53.42/hr

Assumes responsibility for developing, implementing & evaluating a program of education for department specific clinical population(s). Programming includes initial and ongoing staff competency, standardized department-based orientation for all applicable roles, and continued education as identified by needs assessments and regulatory requirement initiatives. Applies policies, procedures, standards, and regulations as appropriate to department clinical populations served. The education will be designed with department leaders, RN Educator- Specialist, and other key stakeholders to positively influence the quality and cost effectiveness of patient care.
What You Bring/Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Bachelor Degree Required
- Master Degree Preferred. Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN), Education, or other related graduate field of study preferred.
- Three years of nursing experience relevant to clinical population served.
- Labor and delivery experience preferred, including high-risk
- Clinical Nurse Educator experience preferred
- Staff development, academic teaching and/or project development experience preferred.
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office products and e-learning platform.
- Registered Nurse State of Employment Required Or Current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact
- Basic Life Support American Heart Association Required
- Nursing Specialty Certification Preferred. Additional certificationsmay be required per facility RN addendum. Professional certification preferred demonstrates progress in obtaining staff development certification within one year of meeting eligibility requirements
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- EFM required within 6 months of hire or transfer
SCHEDULE: Variable, mostly days with some evening hours.
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Located in the north Denver suburb of Westminster, St. Anthony North (SAN) is a full-service, acute-care community hospital. Since 1971, this Level III trauma-designated hospital has provided 24-hour emergency care and operates one of busiest EDs in the Denver Metro Area. Medical specialties available include emergency care, cardiac care, advanced wound care, vein treatment, spine and joint surgery and a comprehensive birth center. This hospital also offers a wide range of classes to help nurture the health of people in the community. It's an amazing time to join the St. Anthony North team as we prepare for the future with a new 350,000 square foot hospital at 1-25 and 144th Ave. in Westminster. The new campus will include 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty physician clinics, community health and wellness services, a women's center with labor/delivery suites, ambulatory surgery center, 92-inpatient beds and an outpatient diagnostic center with lab and imaging services. Currently open for business as the St. Anthony Medical Pavilion, we offer residents of this growing area a 24-hour emergency room, imaging, mammography and physician clinic services. Our exciting construction continues around the Medical Pavilion to fully transform it into the new St. Anthony North Medical Campus by early 2015.
