Your day.
As a Clinical Supervisor â“ Ortho Medical Trauma Nurse you know that every day is different, which is why you need to know how to:
Adapt to quickly changing dynamic situations calmly and effectively
Oversee daily clinical operations of the department; patient advocacy/safety and satisfaction, regulatory compliance, core measures, staff scheduling, and patent/bed flow activities
Perform staffing daily assignments to ensure a comprehensive skill mix and acuity level and ensure productivity goals are met
Assist in payroll processes as directed by the manager
Assist in orientation and evaluation of new hires
Serve as mentor and role model for staff and students
Assist Nurse Manager with human resource activities such as interviewing, hiring, coaching, mentoring, disciplining and evaluating staff.
Your experience.

ASN from an accredited program, required
Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years of hire unless you have a minimum of 15 years of proven, continuous, acute care RN experience, required
Current RN license to practice nursing in the state of Montana
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
Minimum of two (2) years of inpatient RN experience, required
