You bring your body, mind, heart and spirit to your work as an Outpatient Physical Therapist.
Your compassion is tangible: patients feel it in the hand they hold. Families feel it in your prayers. Colleagues feel it in your support.
Youâ™re equally comfortable with assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain, and other medical conditions and developing an individualized treatment plan.
Youâ™re great at what you do, but you want to be part of something even greater. Because you believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible.
Us.
SCL Health Medical Group is part of SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. With locations throughout Colorado, Montana and Wyoming, we offer a wide variety of primary and specialty care services.
Benefits are one of the ways we encourage health for you and your family. Our generous package includes medical, dental and vision coverage. But health is more than a well-working body: it encompasses body, mind and social well-being. To that end, weâ™ve launched a Healthy Living program to address your holistic health. Healthy Living includes financial incentives, digital tools, tobacco cessation, classes, counseling and paid time off. We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.
We.
Together weâ™ll align mission and careers, values and workplace. Weâ™ll honor each otherâ™s dignity and surpass the standards we set. Weâ™ll encourage joy, demand safety and take pride in our integrity.
Weâ™ll laugh at each otherâ™s jokes (even the bad ones). Weâ™ll hello and high five. Weâ™ll celebrate milestones and acknowledge the value of spirituality in healing.
Weâ™re proud of what we know, which includes how much there is to learn.
Your day.
As an Outpatient PT, you need to know how to:
Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
Develop plans describing a treatment strategy, its purposes, and its anticipated outcome. Plan often includes exercise regimens at the clinic and at home to increase flexibility, strength, or endurance. May use various modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling.
Provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs. Help to restore physical function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent permanent disability.
Determine patientsâ™ ability to be independent and reintegrate into the workplace or community after injury or illness.
Your experience.
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
Current/valid state Physical Therapist licensure
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
Minimum of one (1) year of related experience, preferably in a clinic setting
Preferred:
Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy
Current ACLS certification
Certified Hand Therapist
Your next move.
Now that you know more about being an Outpatient PT on our team we hope youâ™ll join us. At SCL Health youâ™ll reaffirm every day how much you love this work, and why you were called to it in the first place.
