Position Summary The Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting and supporting performance improvement activities hospital-wide.
Essential Duties
Provides administrative assistant support for the Quality team. Prepares financial, tracking and other administrative reports by researching, gathering and compiling data. Develops graphs, spreadsheets and may make projections. Updates reports and distributes them periodically.
Assists leadership to prioritize improvement activities based on strategic goals and objectives.
Assists with performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with clinical managers, team leaders and departments.
Collaborates with Quality team to identify and address patient safety related issues such as adverse events and occurrences.
Assists with overseeing hospital compliance with regulatory agencies (CMS and Joint Commission) by managing all survey activities, data collection and reporting requirements.
Assists with management of ongoing assessment of performance, analyzes clinical outcome data and identifies opportunities for improvement. Conducts high-level assessments and data analysis for clinical decision making.
Assists with ensuring all implementation of improvement activities is aligned with evidence based clinical practices and guidelines and in compliance with the requirements of regulatory and accrediting agencies, which include Joint Commission, CMS and the State.

Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00
