Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Lead Dietician for AMG Metabolic Medicine in Morristown, NJ
This team member will counsel a varied population including but not limited to: metabolic medicine/weight loss/weight gain, endocrinology, rheumatology, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, GI ailments, etc.
Collaborate with MD's, Nurse Practitioners, and other RDN's in relation to adult nutrition patient care
Evaluate patients nutritional needs/readiness to learn/psychosocial-behavioral factors
Provide medical nutrition therapy
Develop nutrition treatment plan that includes meal plans, supplements, healthy eating guides, and behavior modification
This team member will provide clinical oversight and leadership to the other Metabolic Medicine RDN's; including safety, quality, and performance evaluations
Minimum Education Required:
Required Education and/or Experience: Bachelors Degree in Food and Nutrition.
Registered Dietician. Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)/ Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or actively working towards certification.
Minimum Experience Required:
Experience in Diabetes Education and Current or actively working towards Certification as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)/ Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).
EMR experience preferred, EPIC experience a plus.
