Radiology Practitioner Assistant (RPA/RRA)
Position SummaryTo provide clinical support for radiologists in general fluoroscopic procedures preliminary image interpretation, administration of intravenous medications or contrast media and catheter placement. Acts as a physician extender on behalf of the radiologists. Essential Duties Provides patient care in radiology health care services under the supervision of the radiologists. Obtains patient consent, provides instructions, discusses alternatives, and initiates medical documentation and discharge summary when applicable.
