KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE : Must be a graduate of an approved School of Ultrasound technology and have 1or more years experience performing ultrasound procedures in a hospital setting is required. Knowledge in all aspects of ultrasonography, including vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN and interventional work, assisting the physician with thoracentesis, paracentesis, amniocentesis, biopsies, surgical procedure guidance, etc. Must be able to work with all ultrasound equipment competently.
EDUCATION : Graduate from an approved AMA school of ultrasound technology, registry eligible to take national registries in one or more sonographic modalities, is required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY : Registered by the ARDMS in either Abdomen or OB/GYN; Vascular registered is strongly preferred. Registries in more than one registry is strongly preferred. Current BCLS is required.

Staff and Volunteers
We employ approximately 1,700+ community members. The 100+ physicians and advanced practice providers on our medical staff represent over 20 specialties, allowing our patients to seek and receive care close to home. Approximately 100 people generously volunteer with us, and contribute nearly 15,000 hours each year.
