St. Joseph Hospital-Eureka is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Trauma physician assistant to join a growing hospital dedicated to serving the community of Eureka, California. Work one on one with an experienced arthroplasty surgeon doing high volume primary and revision arthroplasty. Providence has a developing outpatient joint replacement program. Be a part of developing and implementing standardized protocols for successful and safe same-day home discharges for hip and knee replacements. Minimal rounding. This is a chance to develop a close working relationship with a surgeon and their practice while enjoying an outstanding quality of life in the coastal community of Eureka, right in the heart of Northern California.
- CME days and dollars, relocation assistance and sign-on bonus available
- Monday to Friday schedule with some weekends
- 1 to 2 years of experience required
- Compensation ranges between $160,347 and $214,614 per year
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above
