Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations. * Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next days cases. * Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery.17 OR Suites including 1 trauma room, a hybrid Room, Designated CVOR and a Cystoscopy Suite Approx. 550-650+ cases per month Schedule: This is an on-call-based position. On call commitment. Call shifts starts on Saturday 0700-Monday 0730 and one call shift during the week night 1900-0730. Position is compensated at 38 hours a week whether called in or not; with a 30 min call-back radius required. Full time benefits apply. Candidates must commit to 61 hours of on call during the week and sign the on call commitment memo of expectations.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact, * *Colorado Only:* RNs working in Colorado under a multi-state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency, i.e., drivers license, register to vote, etc. Compact to Compact. Upon issuance of a new multistate license, the former license is inactivated.  For more information visit [Colorado Board of Nursing - Compact Licensure ](https://dpo.colorado.gov/Nursing/Compact)* Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred* *Operating Room (OR) RN experience required** BLS from the American Heart Association required* Two years RN experience required. * Previous OR RN experience required. 1 yr min in OR. * Previous Heart team/ Cardiac experience required * Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialtyPhysical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen. We have two DaVinci Xi Robotic systems allowing us to provide robotically assisted procedures in general, urology, gynecology and thoracic specialties. Currently there are 17 different specialties provided here at SAH including trauma, neuro, ortho, general, cardiac, vascular, ENT, plastics, urology, GYN, thoracic, and more. Our caseload for 2019 was 5,859 procedures in this unit alone. We have one specialized team for cardiac, all other employees are cross-trained for all remaining specialties allowing for increased knowledge base of surgical procedures, skill level and ability to cover any patient care needs.  We offer various shifts and schedule opportunities so associates can maintain a positive work-life balance.
