Trauma and General Surgery Physician Assistant
Position Overview
Our clinicians have a depth and breadth of surgical knowledge that are unmatched in the area, with expertise in less invasive techniques and innovative practices. At the Institute for Surgical Excellence, you’ll be a part of a team that is setting the bar for surgical excellence.
Inpatient care for trauma and acute care surgery patients
First assistant in operating room approximately once a week
Intensive Care management of critically ill patients
Formal evaluation of the acute trauma patient
Outpatient clinic with General Surgery
Rotating schedule, 10-hour shift days and 15-hour shift nights (6 nights a month)
Call 1:5
