Southwest Midwives is a private, midwife-owned practice in beautiful Southwest Colorado. We attend births at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, including waterbirth and VBACs. Our patient population is mixed risk, and we have a strong collaborative relationship with our OBGYN group. The right candidate will feel comfortable in a rural setting (no 24-hour in house anesthesia or OBGYN), have excellent time management and communication skills, and work well as part of a small team. First assist training upon hire. Experienced midwives preferred, but we would consider a new graduate for a 1 year CNM fellowship. Seeking a full time addition to our team. Base salary dependent on experience. 

• MSN in Midwifery
• Certified as CNM by AMCB
• Active RN and APN license in the state of Colorado
• Ability to be added to the practice's current malpractice policy
