We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General or Family Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide primary care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion and disease prevention. The Physician provides primary health services which may include women's health care, family planning, and/or primary care. RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnosing, prescribing care and treatment for patients
Performing physical examinations for well persons
Ordering, administering, and interpreting laboratory tests
Prescribing medications
Prescribing treatment regimens
Consulting with specialists and making referrals
Performing specific outpatient minor surgery and procedures
Documenting patients charts in an appropriate time frame
Completing all forms, reports and special information requests in an appropriate manner
Assisting in the coordination and development of a plan of operation
Serving on appropriate community committees
Attending local medical conferences and meetings
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLSANDABILITIES
Thorough knowledge of the techniques and skills used in examination, diagnosis and patient treatment
Ability to perform the duties required of a center physician
Extensive knowledge of recent developments in the field of physical medicine
Ability to establish and maintain a satisfactory working relationship with patients, other professional employees and the general public
Ability to maintain at least courtesy privileges at one of the local hospitals
EDUCATION,EXPERIENCEANDTRAINING
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine and completion of an accredited residency training program.
