Summary
Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a full time 1.0 FTE General Surgery Physician Assistant to join our Bellevue Medical Center team in Bellevue, Washington, with occasional coverage in our partnering site at Capitol Hill Medical Center in Seattle, WA.
This is a multi-disciplinary General Surgery practice involving the full breadth of elective and acute care general surgery. There is a team spirit of collaboration with an emphasis on continuous learning, education, quality improvement, and standardization of care and best practices. We have a full multi-disciplinary team, including 5 General Surgeons, 2 General Surgery Physician Assistants, and robust support staff including RNs and MAs. In addition, the practice works closely with the Seattle general surgery practice comprised of 5 general surgeons, 5 physician assistants and supporting RNs and MAs, and working in Seattle to support the Seattle general surgery practice will be part of this role.
Core components of this position include:
* Evaluating and managing patients in the outpatient clinic at all points in the care continuum
* First Assist on laparoscopic, robotic and open procedures
* Community Hospital Rounding & Inpatient management
* Consultations in urgent care and ED if needed to amplify efficiencies
* Shared Call Responsibilities - 1:5
* No trauma component to this position.
Bellevue Medical Center is a multispecialty medical center. Lab, Radiology and Pharmacy on site. Office hours are 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday with Urgent Care open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Compensation and Benefits
The entire salary range for this position is $130,338 to $145,671 and will be prorated based on FTE. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $130,338 to $145,671 based on factors such as education, training or experience. Additional compensation for activated call.

Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, receive employer contributions to the 401(k) plan, and enroll in our cash balance pension plan. Employees will also receive four weeks of paid vacation leave every year and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and will receive continuing medical education leave and funding.
