The Linen Distributer is responsible for ordering, receiving, distributing, and delivering supplies, linen, and equipment across UCLA Health facilities in a timely and organized manner. This role supports patient care areas, including units, clinics, procedural, interventional, and radiology departments. Duties include stocking and maintaining inventory rooms, filling orders, performing data entry, and conducting physical inventory counts. You will collaborate with clinical staff to identify supply needs, adjusts inventory systems, and places orders using handheld or third-party software. The position requires the ability to lift and transport supplies up to 50 lbs and push linen carts up to 400 lbs. Additional responsibilities include reconciling packing slips, adjusting PAR levels, and recommending cost-saving inventory initiatives.
Salary Range: $25.10-25.10/hour

is a part-time "as needed" per diem position; schedule and working
hours will vary. May convert to Career.
Qualifications
Highly motivated self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
Enthusiastic team player who contributes ideas for process improvement and efficiency
Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately enter data using handheld devices or computers
Eager and willing to learn new systems and procedures
Proficient in basic mathematical calculations
Self-disciplined and able to meet strict deadlines and follow protocols with minimal supervision
Capable of performing heavy manual tasks, including pushing/pulling linen carts up to 400 pounds
Able to lift, carry, and transport supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
Preferred: Experience with inventory management in a hospital or clinic setting
Preferred: Familiarity with electronic ordering systems and handheld technology
