Join the Cooperative Health team as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Cooperative Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services in the Spirit of the Good Samaritan to the Columbia, SC area and surrounding communities. As the CFO, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations, strategies, and performance of Cooperative Health. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial plans that ensure the sustainability and growth of the organization. Your responsibilities will include financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare finance, reimbursement models, and government programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. You should possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization. A strategic mindset and the ability to drive financial performance while maintaining a focus on mission-driven work are essential for success in this role.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare finance, preferably in a leadership role within an FQHC or similar healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of healthcare financial principles, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
Ability to think strategically and drive financial performance in alignment with organizational goals.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare data analytics is a plus.
