We are seeking a Clinical Nurse IV Leader in our Duke Perinatal of Durham clinic located in Durham, NC to be an integral member of the healthcare team to provide direct and indirect care to patients.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help high-risk OB patients navigate their nutritional goals in outpatient setting, home/facility and into the community using current nursing evidence-based clinical decision-making and practice
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to order appropriate labs and place needed referrals to close gaps in care.
Will initiate multiple points of contact with program patients, identify needs, coordinate care services and provide diabetes self-management education.
Promotes evidence-based practice through developing, implementing, and evaluating process standards such as plans of care, protocols, and guidelines. Collaborates in preparing standardized orders and protocol-driven practice updates and reviews.
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Work requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with a BSN degree.
Applicants must meet all requirements set forth by the DUHS Career Ladder Program for level IV.
Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
BLS required.
