Overview

The Senior Financial Specialist provides primary support to the Financial Operations Director for WakeMed Physician Practices. Responsible for financial activities including reporting, budgeting, analysis, projections, and proformas. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of the business unit's statements and other reporting. This position provides management support for strategic planning and business development. Serves as primary contact for GME & third party when applicable. Supports the use of finance applications such as Lawson, Epic and other management tools. Utilizes financial software tools to prepare, analyze and review financial reports for WakeMed Physicians Practices. Understands the needs of WakeMed Physician Practices and supports its mission, values, and management.
