Demonstrate ability to initiate and operate the Draeger Ventilator,

Demonstrate proficiency in the set-up and operation of the iVent,

Demonstrate ability to identify appropriate, initiate and document in hospital IPOCS,

Demonstrates understanding of the population we serve i.e. neonate/infant, geriatric, COPD, Pneumonia, Non-English Speaking,

Demonstrate ability and proficiency to order. perform, confirm and post ECG’s in patient’s chart,

Demonstrate ability to set-up, implement therapy, wean appropriately and document completely on high flow oxygen systems

NICU RT’s must be able to demonstrate and verbally answer trouble shooting questions on the Oxygen Analyzers, Oxygen Cannula with bubbler, Heated Cannula, Oxygen Hoods, SIPAP/CPAP, Babylog Ventilator, Surfactant delivery, suctioning, nursery rounding and equipment stocking

In Pulmonary Function Lab demonstrates knowledge of pulmonary function testing procedures/protocols and related equipment
