The role you’ll contribute:
Perform daily maintenance and major restoration of hard and carpeted surface areas in accordance with department and Florida Hospital policies and procedures. Perform cleaning using the 10 step process in areas as assigned. Conduct project cleaning of walls, lights entrances, common areas, windows vents, sidewalks, etc. as assigned. Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Florida Hospital and the department. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

· Analyzes carpeted and hard surface floors, and applies correct maintenance procedures. Performs cleaning function using the 10 steps process in all assigned areas.
· Monitors and reports any equipment issues or shortages. Stocks supplies.
· Assesses areas of assignment and makes suggestion for improvement to supervisor. Documents daily assignments completed. Adjusts to staff shortages and covers other assigned areas.
· Maintains high standards set by department and Florida Hospital.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· One year of floor tech experience (Preferred)
· High School Education or equivalent (Preferred)
