POSITION SUMMARY: The Cancer Center Project Coordinator will provide administrative and project management support to the oncology leadership team, ensuring seamless operations and the successful execution of key initiatives. This role requires a blend of executive assistant duties, project coordination, and expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite. The coordinator will be responsible for organizing, tracking, and reporting on various cancer center projects, assisting with data collection and analysis, and ensuring effective communication within the team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, healthcare-focused environment.
Requirements
EDUCATION: Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, project management, or a related field
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: N/A
SKILLS:
Communicate effectively to different audiences.
Proficient in computer skills using EXCEL, PowerPoint, MS Office, and Flowchart tools.
Project planning, organization and scheduling for multiple projects at a time.
Meeting agendas, action item tracking and minute taking follow through.
Prepare documentation, charts, graphs, project plans, training materials and other written communications.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, executive assistance, or a related role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
NATURE OF SUPERVISION:
-Responsible to: Executive Director, Oncology Services
ENVIRONMENT:
May be required to travel to perform duties. May be required to work outside of normal working hours or long hours due to project demands or critical problems.

General office setting with exposure to environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift and transfer objects typically not in excess of 25 lbs. Extended use of video display terminal and keyboard utilizing sound ergonomic principals.
