The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates Inc. (MFA), an independent non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, is seeking an academic radiation oncologist with a subspecialty focus in solid tumors in genitourinary, gynecologic, and/or head and neck malignancies within a vibrant, growing academic practice. This non-tenure-track appointment, expected to commence as early as Fall 2025, will be made at a rank (assistant professor, associate professor, or full professor) and salary commensurate with experience. The Division of Radiation Oncology of the Department of Radiology is a key component of the Oncology Service line within the George Washington Cancer Center (GWCC). The GWCC brings together the resources of the University, the GW Medical Faculty Associates, and the GW University Hospital to expand current treatment and research efforts in the fight against cancer and to position our institution as the premier cancer care provider in the Washington, D.C. area.
Responsibilities include treating genitourinary, gynecologic, and/or head and neck malignancies, using stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiation therapy, external beam modalities, and brachytherapy to provide care to patients with cancer and other conditions treated with radiotherapy; teaching students and residents in the classroom and clinical settings; and developing an active research program. Opportunities are available to participate in ongoing multidisciplinary clinical research projects and other activities of the GWCC.

Basic Qualifications: Applicants must be American Board of Radiology-eligible or certified and be eligible for medical licensure at the time of appointment. Evidence of academic accomplishments (scholarly activity and/or innovative teaching) is also required.
