We are actively searching for Physician Program Directors to lead the new Internal Medicine and Family Medicine programs.
The Program Director handles the general management, curriculum development, hiring, and teaching and mentoring of the Program. The Program Director sets the strategic vision of the Program and ensures its standards, quality, and reputation. The Program Director is expected to support the collaboration of the Graduate Medicine Education Program with physician practices and hospital clinical services in a way that improves value and quality, and that fosters a positive environment for professional practice and medical education.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Residency Program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine as well as respective Board Certification.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida, or ability to obtain this prior to start date
- Clear, unrestricted DEA
- Minimum 3 years experience in a teaching or faculty capacity with a graduate medical education program.
- Current BLS credentials thru the American Heart Association
- Clinical experience in the most recent 12 months. Preferred competency and recent experience in both inpatient and outpatient medicine.
