Duke Health seeks an Internal Medicine physician at the Kernodle Clinic in the Burlington area of NC. Kernodle Clinic is Duke?s flagship practice in their western market. Kernodle Clinic is Duke?s largest community-based multi-specialty practice of 60 physicians and 46 mid-level providers covering 15 medical and surgical specialties. The practice includes 75,000 sq. ft. main office, plus a walk-in clinic and two satellite offices, one in Mebane and the other in Elon.
We are growing our Internal Medicine team at two of our Kernodle Clinic locations:
Burlington office has a team of 10 physicians and 5 advanced practice providers
Call 1:15 (office call only, answering service fields first call, no inpatient responsibilities)
18-24 pts/day
Abridge AI scribe available
Dedicated 1:1 ratio of MD/MA or nurse staff
Rotating PA students as well as medical students
Current Mebane practice will relocate to new construction in Mebane upon completion Fall 2026

Kernodle Clinic offers a robust compensation plan that rewards clinical productivity. Duke contributes 9% of base salary to selected retirement plan, excellent benefits, relocation, and college tuition assistance for dependent children.
