Responsibilities:
Under direction supervision, assist in the evaluation of patient status and provides basic bedside respiratory care (determined prior to hire in the organization ? subject to change as skill levels increase). Displays abilities to perform specific procedures associated with respiratory therapy to the patient following a prescribed treatment plan by the physician and company policies and procedures. Performs patient/family education and maintains all necessary related documentation.
Must have basic understanding of respiratory disease processes. Demonstrated interest in professional growth and development; ability to accept scheduling/placement designations determined prior to hire in organization. Must have good customer relations skills and basic computer skills.
Requirements:
Education/Skills
High School diploma or equivalent.
Current student enrolled and in good standing in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
