About the Position:
The VA Hospital in Reno, Nevada, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physician to join our team of healthcare professionals. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide exceptional care to Veterans who have served our country.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive orthopedic care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and develop personalized treatment plans.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
Perform orthopedic surgeries and manage postoperative care.
Engage in teaching and mentoring medical residents and students.
Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of orthopedic medicine.
Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory.
Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic surgery, patient care, and clinical skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
Commitment to providing compassionate care to Veterans.
