Description
UNC Health Complete Care, located in Kinston, NC, is currently seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join their practice of 1 OBGYN Physician and 1 Physician Assistant.
The Nurse Midwife is an advanced practice nurse who is responsible for the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of nurse midwifery care delivered to antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum, and newborn patients. The midwife performs physical exams, collects and documents data, manages labor and spontaneous delivery, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations, and prescribes appropriate interventions and medications.

REQUIREMENTS
· MSN Required
· Graduation from an accredited CNM training program required
· Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
· Certification as a Nurse Midwife required
· Three years nursing experience in a clinical setting required
· One or more years of full panel midwifery experience preferred
· Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at UNC Health Lenoir
