The role youll contribute:

As a CVOR Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in our high-acuity surgical environment. Youll be responsible for delivering safe and effective care during complex cardiovascular and vascular procedures. In this highly specialized area, you will serve as a Circulating Nurse in the CVOR. This position requires a high level of autonomy, precision, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary surgical team.

The value youll bring to the team:

Serve as the RN Circulator during cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, following AORN standards.

Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control guidelines.

Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and proactively provide critical supplies and instrumentation.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and CVOR techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Accurately document intraoperative activities and patient care.

Manage specimens and ensure proper labeling and transport according to hospital policy.

Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts, including case reviews and team debriefings.

Assist with orientation and training of new CVOR staff as appropriate.

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:

Registered Nurse (RN) with current, active Florida license.

Minimum 2 years of Operating Room Circulating experience in an acute care setting.

BLS and ACLS certification.

Strong critical thinking and crisis management skills.

Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior critical care experience

CNOR certification

Experience with Da Vinci robotics , endovascular procedures, or transplant cases

Prior experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 CVOR program
