POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Operations is accountable for the leadership, direction, and implementation of services in assigned departments for the CHRISTUS St. Vincent Clinician Group. Scope may include clinics in primary care, specialty care, and surgical services and/or hospital departments that fall under the Clinician Group. In collaboration with medical and administrative leaders, ensures the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care and that key organizational goals are met. The Director promotes high levels of experience and engagement with patients, providers, and associates by proactively addressing concerns through meaningful measures and interventions. They are responsible for collaboration with other departments across CSV and CHRISTUS Health to develop and implement plans, achieve goals, and promote sustainable growth.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor?s degree in related field; master?s degree highly preferred. Five years of experience in healthcare operational leadership or related field can substitute for degree.
EXPERIENCE: Five or more years of related management experience. Additional appropriate education (e.g., MBA, MHA) may substitute for three years of management experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
· Manual dexterity to operate standard office and clinical equipment.
· Occasional lifting or moving of items up to twenty-five pounds may be required.
· Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to perform job duties, including reviewing documents and participating in meetings.
· Ability to drive own vehicle and travel between clinic sites (local and state-wide) and attend off-site meetings, as necessary.
