Description
UNC Urgent Care at Southeastern Health Mall, located in Lumberton, North Carolina, has openings for full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners (FNP) or Physician Assistants (PA). The providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams.

Ideal Candidates:
Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Minimum one year experience working as an APP in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting required
NC Licensure or ability to obtain
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with team members
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Required procedures: Suturing, splinting
DOT Certification
Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required
Clinic Schedule:
8:00am - 8:00pm (Sunday - Saturday)
Plus, weekends and holidays
Flexible, Fulltime Schedule
