Our experienced inpatient team at Barnes-Jewish West County is looking for detail oriented and patient centered technician! Ideal candidate will be nationally certified with previous pharmacy experience.

- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (Wed – Tues OR Thurs – Wed)
- Shift: 9pm-7am
- Holidays and weekends required during scheduled rotation

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. Barnes Jewish West County Hospital Pharmacy is responsible for the Medication Management of patients by procuring, storing, and distributing medications throughout the hospital. The pharmacy is also involved with many patient safety and quality processes to optimize medication administration.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
The Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient 2, under the direct supervision of a staff pharmacist and according to standard procedures, prepares medication orders, and assists in dispensing & transporting medications. This position also conducts sterile and/or non-sterile compounding, uses various automated/electronic systems and maintains the required documentation & records.
