SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Department Director and the Occupational Therapy Supervisor, provides quality occupational therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities. Occupational Therapist with the ability to do evaluations and treatment in an acute and outpatient setting, focus on adults, but experience with pediatrics is also helpful to our practice. Availability during weekdays for coverage for planned and unplanned absences as well as the ability to work 2 weekend days per month minimum. Will also work 1 holiday per year minimum. New graduates are welcome to apply if clinical settings include outpatient and acute care. Anticipate 1-3 days per week minimum available during peak seasons (March through December). SPECIAL SKILLS: Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. LICENSE/CERT: Required: OTR (Occupational Therapist), NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors - Occupational Therapy
