Daily monitoring of unapplied cash, AR reports from insurance payers, credit balances and refunds. Troubleshoots to reconcile accounts and researches to obtain missing information when data not validated. Maintenance of the Cerner Contract Management System
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:A
Works independently with general supervision to process credit balances for all government and third party payers, maintaining this within the healthcare industry standard.
Monitor unapplied cash, researching EOBas from insurance payers and submitting to cash posting for accurate account posting.
Review and timely disposition of refund requests, submitting disputes when the refund request is not validated.
A Generate contract variance reports, analyzes and compiles data into monthly financial reports for submission to the Director of Patient Financial Services.
Maintains Insurance Payer AR (Forward Balance) accounts, contacting the payer to identify of the forward balance. Submits documentation to cash posting for the AR balance.
Extracts data to create weekly/monthly AR reports as assigned.
Processes audit results submitted by Third Party payers.
