Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of rheumatic conditions, including arthritis, autoimmune diseases, and musculoskeletal disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, leveraging the latest advancements in rheumatology.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development activities.
- Support a satisfactory process for supervision and training of fellows, residents and medical students from University of Arizona College of Medicine rotating through the Rheumatology division
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of rheumatology.
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
- Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in all the US States
- Preference will be given to candidates who are board certified or recently board eligible in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
