Denver Health Medical Center is seeking a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our collaborative, mission-driven cardiovascular team at one of the nation’s premier integrated safety-net health systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice comprehensive clinical cardiology while contributing to education and care for a diverse, urban patient population.
You will join a multidisciplinary group of 12 cardiologists and 8 advanced practice providers delivering the full spectrum of cardiovascular care, including advanced electrophysiology and interventional cardiology services.
Clinical Responsibilities
Comprehensive non-invasive cardiology practice, including inpatient (CCU/consultative services) and outpatient care
Interpretation of stress testing, ECGs, and ambulatory rhythm monitoring
Advanced echocardiography, including transesophageal and stress echocardiography
Opportunities for cardiac imaging, including nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and potential involvement in cardiac MRI, based on training and interest
Supervision and teaching of cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students through our academic partnership with the University of Colorado
Qualifications
Required:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Level II echocardiography training
Commitment to team-based care and service to a diverse, multicultural patient population
Level III echocardiography and/or NBE certification
Certification in nuclear cardiology and/or cardiac CT
Procedural TEE experience
