Job Description:
Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, performance evaluations, and payroll functions. Demonstrating critical thinking skills, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance and positive employee relations. Fostering a culture of psychological safety, where team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to speak up, share concerns, and contribute meaningfully. Promoting evidence-based practice, ensuring quality outcomes, and fostering a culture of safety, compassion, and continuous learning. Provides ongoing education and training to nursing staff to maintain high competency levels. Preparing the unit for audits and surveys, by monitoring and maintaining unit compliance with regulatory standards, accrediting, hospital polices while coordinating staff education to maintain competencies and preparedness.

Work Experience: • 2+ years acute care nursing experience [Required] • 2+ years of experience providing leadership of care team or equivalent (i.e. team leader, clinical nurse coordinator) [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications: • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required] • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
