A well-established medical school in Boise, Idaho is seeking a board-certified Anesthesiologist to join its faculty. This role is ideal for physicians looking to transition into academic medicine while maintaining limited clinical involvement. The position emphasizes teaching, mentorship, curriculum development, and simulation-based education within a collaborative environment serving students across Idaho and the Mountain West.

Faculty will participate in didactic lectures, small-group facilitation, high-fidelity simulation training, perioperative medicine education, airway workshops, procedural skills labs, and student advising. The institution provides modern infrastructure and strong administrative support to ensure a balanced and sustainable academic workload.

Position Highlights:

4 days on-campus teaching + 1 day of low-volume clinical work

80% - 100% teaching - lectures, small groups, simulation, clinical skills, and student advising

Modern 94,000 sq. ft. academic campus with sim center, anatomy lab & OMM lab

Competitive compensation ($250-300k) + full academic benefits

$10k relocation, 240 hours PTO + 320 flex/sick time, $4k CME
