About Parr's Pro Hearing Services Inc

Dr. Susan Parr,audiologist, brings a wealth of experience spanning 30 years in diagnosing and treating hearing, tinnitus, and balance disorders, with a strong emphasis on compassion and dedication. Throughout her career, Dr. Parr has worked alongside and collaborated closely with ENTs and other physicians within her multi-office private practices. Her commitment to mentoring students has led her to serve as an Adjunct Professor at multiple universities. Currently, she holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Piedmont University, where she imparts her expertise through audiology courses. Dr. Parr's academic journey includes a B.A. degree in Psychology, Education, and Spanish from West Virginia Wesleyan College, an M.S. Degree in Communication Disorders with an emphasis in Audiology from the Pennsylvania State University, and an Au.D. degree from the University of Florida. She is licensed to practice audiology in Georgia, Florida, and Pennsylvania. Dr. Parr's involvement in audiology organizations is extensive. She has held roles such as Board Member for the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, Regional Captain for State Leaders at the American Academy of Audiology, and President an...d Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology, Northern Regional Representative and President for the Georgia Academy of Audiology. Her contributions have been recognized by the PAA, as she was honored with the George Osborne Honors Award for her outstanding work in the field of audiology.
