Responsibilities Under the direction of Clinical Supervisors, Medical Laboratory Scientists and Lab Coordinators performs receptionist, processor, and phlebotomist duties to serve patients with compassion and empathy. Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages Properly label, handle, and transport specimens to the laboratory to ensure integrity and accuracy Communicate professionally with nursing staff, physicians, and lab personnel regarding specimen needs or issues Register patients accurately by collecting and verifying demographic, insurance, and billing information Communicate effectively with clinical departments to resolve registration or order issues Accurately enter and verify patient and specimen data Provide courteous, professional service to the patients and families Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and hospital safety regulations at all times Experience 1-2 years phlebotomy experience in a Clinic setting -PREFERRED License/Certification/Education High school Diploma or Equivalent-REQUIRED BENEFITS Happen Here!
