The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY is seeking an AP or AP/CP board-certified pathologist to participate in clinical services of Hematopathology in a growing system-level hematopathologist subspecialty team. Fellowship training is required. A second area of interest in AP or CP is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities include:
- Hematopathology pathology sign-out and participation in interdisciplinary tumor boards.
- Bi-weekly participation in virtual consensus conferences including four hospitals and seven other hematopathologists.
- Shared night/weekend Hematopathology call.
Teaching activities include:
- 1-on-1 and group sign-out with hematopathology fellow, residents, medical students and visiting observers
- Didactic lectures, unknown slide conference and supervising residents’ presentations such as journal club, gross conference and grand rounds.
- Activities in translational research and medical student teaching can be tailored according to individual preferences and department needs.
